Al’s Goldfish Limited Edition Commemorative Anniversary Lure Now Available

ELIOT, Maine (April 4, 2022) — Al’s Goldfish Lure Company, designer and American-made manufacturer of the classic Goldfish lure and other innovative fishing lures and accessories, today unveiled a new limited edition commemorative fishing lure designed to celebrate its flagship lure and how the legacy of Al’s began 70 years ago. These sleek and flashy two-tone Goldfish lures are available in 3/16 oz., ¼ oz. and ½ oz. weights. They will be available throughout 2022.

“Over the years we have had many of our customers ask us to produce the Goldfish in two-tone plating. This year we’ve answered their requests and created a commemorative Goldfish that is a version of the original gold-colored lure with all the same attributes that made it a winning lure across seven decades, but we added something special to it,” said owner Jeff DeBuigne. “This Limited Edition Commemorative Goldfish comes plated in black nickel with a 22k gold striped plate on top.”

These limited edition lures will be available exclusively online at https://www.alsgoldfish.com/70th-Anniversary-s/129.html for a suggested retail of $5.99 for the 3/16 oz and ¼ oz and $7.99 for the ½ oz. Be sure to get yours before they are gone.

About Al’s Goldfish Lure Company
The company was launched in 1952 with a single pioneering spoon lure, known as Stuart’s Goldfish, named after founder Al Stuart. The company’s flagship lure was renamed Al’s Goldfish in 1954, and by 1973 the popularity of the Goldfish lure soared to nearly one million lures sold in a year. Along the way, other popular lures, such as the Forty-Niner and Helgy, and hook bonnet lure accessories were added to the company’s list of American-made products. In 2015 the line was expanded to include the Saltwater Goldfish series. In 2022, present owners Jeff and Mandy DeBuigne are celebrating the 70 year anniversary of the Goldfish lure.
