New KastKing Ice Fishing Rods Crack Open Ice Fishing Market
KastKing introduces two new models of innovative ice rods that come with two interchangeable tips.
(For Immediate Release – November 30,2020 – Garden City, Long Island New York) KastKing is proud to announce the first series of KastKing ice fishing rods for our northern fishing friends. They are the KastKing Konvert Ice Fishing Rod Series available in two models with two tips; one Medium action and the other is a Medium Light action.
The new KastKing Konvert Twin Tip Hardwater Ice Rods are made using a 100% IM6 Graphite Blank that is light and sensitive. KastKing used this material in the handle and all the way through both the Medium and Medium Light tip section. IM6 blanks are highly sensitive for light bites and are powerful for solid hook sets. Each Konvert Hardwater Ice Rod includes a handle with a two-piece graphite reel seat along with two different action tip sections. Each rod has a high-visibility chartreuse green strike tip that allows ice anglers fishing in a dark ice shelter or outside in bright sun or stormy days see more subtle bites.
Konvert Twin Tip Ice rods are 27” long when assembled but pack down to under 17” for easy travel or storage. They fit easily into packs, ice sleds, and ice huts. They also take up less space at the end of the season when it’s time to put things away. The handle length is just under 12” while each of the two tips are 16” long. There are three pieces in each set.
All Konvert Ice Fishing Rods include a clear, plastic travel and storage tube that holds the handle and both tips. It can also be used to store the second tip while using the other. The travel tube is only 17” long and 1 ½” in diameter making travel and storage easy.

All along we have been selling a lot of KastKing spinning reels. It was time to add these great ice rods at an affordable price.”
KastKing has also introduced a 100% glass blank ice fishing rod, the new KastKing Konvert Linear Ice Rods that have light-weight, yet strong 100% glass rod blanks.
Like the Hardwater Ice Rods, KastKing Konvert Linear Ice Rods are truly “Convertible” because anglers get two different ice rods in one. Each Linear Ice Rod includes a “Pencil Grip” shaped cork handle, four high-tenacity reel bands, and two different tip sections. One Medium action and one Medium Light action. Both rod tip sections come with highly visible orange strike tips.
