Bow Time for KVD

Like many pro bassers, Kevin VanDam likes to take some time each year and chase deer with his bow. This year, he is trying to get his boys more involved.

“I’ve been so busy with other things this year I haven’t taken my bow out to practice,” said VanDam. “I got my equipment out today. I’ll be getting ready soon enough.

“I’d like to get my boys out more this year. They are on the tennis team at school and that season just ended. Now they are in driver training courses. That will end in a couple of weeks. Then we will be able to go and hit the practice range.

“Last year we went to Kansas and I took the boys to south Texas for deer hunting. This year we will stay in our area and hunt. We have some pretty good deer hunting here in Michigan.”
