Following his best year on tour, Elite Series Pro Britt Myers is hoping to be voted into the All Star event. After two second place finishes and having narrowly missed a Bassmaster Classic berth for 2013, Britt Myers believes his career is on track.

“I’ve fished hard and I feel like I’m on the verge of a breakthrough. It’s my pattern. When I started fishing I had a few rough years at the club level, then I started winning and doing well. Then I advanced to the open pro-am events and had a few rough years before I started doing well again. I’ve had a few mediocre years on the Elite Series now, and I can feel some good years coming. Don’t get me wrong; I’m fishing against the best in the world, but I think I’m now a threat to do well in every event,” said Myers.
Myers also expressed his hope to fish the All Star event, which will include the top eight from the Angler of the Year point list and four fan-selected anglers. When asked why fans should vote for him, Myers offered, “I hope the fans out there have seen not only how well I fished throughout the season, but how much passion I have for this sport. I really think being a part of the All Star event would be good for me, as well as for the sport. I enjoy speaking with the fans and the media, and I do my best to be a positive role model for the young anglers watching.”
As an incentive to help the voting process, Myers is offering a great prize pack to voters who vote for him and share his offer on Facebook. “Everyone is offering something cool if they should get voted in. I have a great relationship with ATX Series wheels and Nitto Tires through my business, CS Motorsports. Because of this great relationship, I am offering a set of 20-inch ATX Series wheels with Nitto tires to a voter that will be randomly drawn should I get voted into the event. Plus, I will be giving away my jersey to another lucky voter, and a day of fishing with me and a Pinnacle rod and reel package to three other voters. I hate to feel like I am buying votes. Instead, I’m looking at is as the right thing to do for my sponsors. I truly want to go to Illinois and represent our sport.”
