Ponca City, Okla.-July 16, 2016-Exciting team-format competitive bass action of the Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit comes to Wisconsin’s legendary Lake Wissota July 30 for a regular-season qualifying tournament presented by Mercury.
The event is open to all two-person teams regardless of club or sponsor affiliation. It offers a single day of competition on the 6,100-acre Chippewa County fishery, which holds both large- and smallmouth bass. Teams will be allowed to bring their best five large- or smallmouth bass to the scale, and the team with the heaviest total will be crowned the champions.
“This is going to be an exciting event,” said Sr. Tournament Director Dan Palmer. “The bite can be tricky, but the big ones are there. Both the lake and Chippewa River are in play, giving anglers plenty of options to figure out the bites.”
