Alton Jones Jr. bagged a limit on his first day and enjoyed Texan support. Brent Ehrler lead the event for two days, but fell short on the finale. Bobby Lane had a solid showing. James Elam took his best shot. Drew Benton had fun fishing on the final day. Mike Iaconelli was in reach of his second Classic title. He came up a few fish short. Ott DeFoe is on a roll after his first Elite Series win last season. He had a solid Classic and leads the Angler of the Year race. So close for Steve Kennedy. If he caught his limit on Day 1 he may have held the big hardware on the final day. The champion, Jordan Lee.
