Ott Not So Far at Oneida
As far as practices go, Ott DeFoe isn’t feeling the love at Oneida this week. Looking for his first Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year title, he had this to say about his practice so far.
“It’s been pretty tough here,” said DeFoe. “The first fish I caught this week was a big one. I just hope I can catch one during the whole tournament that big!”
Millennium Changes on Oneida
John Crews commenting about changing fishing conditions during practice on Lake
Oneida in New York, site of the 2012 Elite Series Ramada Championship.
“This lake has been here for thousands of years, so not much changes on it too quickly,” said Crews.
Crews finished 13th at Oneida the last time the Elites came through town. A repeat of that and he is in the Classic.
