DeFoe Not in Pain

No worries folks, Nitro Boats pro Ott De Foe is not injured, he is just happy the Alabama Rig (A-Rig) is not in his future on the Bassmaster Elite Series. The A-Rig is notorious for being physically demanding to fish with. At the recent B.A.S.S. Southern Open, where De Foe finished 11th, the A-Rig was the dominant option for all of the Top 12 anglers.

 
“I am glad we don’t get to use the Alabama Rig on the Elite Series,” said De Foe. “It’s not because I am a hater of the rig or a lover of the rig. It’s not magic; you still have to work and find the fish. It is super effective this time of the year. I’m just glad we don’t use it because it is so painful to use. I don’t like to be in pain if I don’t have to be.”
