Falcon Boats has had a busy off-season between the 2018 and 2019 professional tournament seasons, and the news out Newberry, S.C. continues with the addition of Knoxville, Tenn. pro Brandon Coulter. In 2019, Coulter will be competing in the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour out of his new Falcon F205 powered by a Mercury ProXS 250 Four Stroke.
A veteran of more than 120 professional level events between the FLW and Bassmaster tournament trails, Coulter has posted seven top 10 finishes, qualified for three Forrest Wood Cups a trip to a Bassmaster Classic and a combined total of $525,697 in career earnings. Most importantly, he has proven his value as a promotional angler in the process.
Coulter said he appreciated the opportunity to join the Falcon Boats team for several reasons. “I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of the top brands in bass boats, and this is one of the finest, and well thought out boats I’ve ever been around,” he said. “Stephen (Waller) and Tim (DePriest) have as much boat building experience as anyone, and they have poured it into these boats; and it shows.”
He also said he looked forward to being a part of the growth. “Falcon Boats has already shown that they have been able to make waves,” he said. “It’s not very often you get to be a part of a company at the early part of their process. I look forward to being a part of the growth of Falcon Boats and working with them going forward.”
Falcon Boats said that adding Coulter was an easy decision because of his versatility. “We are excited about our partnership with Brandon. It is nice to have an angler that truly understands the marketing side of the partnership. With Brandon’s business background and fishing accomplishments, he is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Waller. “He is a hometown hero in Knoxville, who brought us a new dealer, Norris Lake Boat Center, in Lafollette, Tenn. We also look forward to Brandon representing us at the Bassmaster Classic Expo in Knoxville this year, and on the Bass Pro Tour.”
Coulter joins a Falcon Bass Boats team that already includes Bass Pro Tour anglers Anthony Gagliardi and Justin Atkins, FLW Tour pros Tim Frederick, Brian Latimer and John Hunter Jr., as well as Bassmaster Elite Series pros Patrick Walters, Brett Preuett, Brandon Cobb, Rick Morris and Bassmaster Opens pro Michael Murphy.
