Registration is open and the field continues to grow as the city of Florence Alabama readies itself for the onslaught of High School Anglers from across the country who will be attending the pinnacle of all high school fishing events, the 2015 High School Fishing World Finals!
The nation’s largest and longest running High School Championship event will converge on Pickwick and Wilson reservoirs for the 2015 version of the annual summer classic which pits two person High School teams from across the country against each other for the chance to be crowned World Champion and claim thousands in scholarship and prizes! ALL SAF members are eligible to attend and fish the week long family event.
“The High School World Finals is without a doubt the event that started it all and has led to more high school fishing anglers, teams and trails starting up than any other” stated TBF National Youth Director Mark Gintert. “A lot of high school teams and organizations can trace their roots to some member of their group making the trip to the very first world finals held in Russellville Arkansas in 2010. From there the SAF has grown to the industry leader and the largest High School Fishing organization there is.” added Gintert.
The four day HSFWF has a very unique structure that has all of the anglers competing for three days in a format that is designed to keep everyone in the game until the final day. Twenty one teams will advance to Saturday’s final round through either the semi-final or consolation rounds and someone will win the crown of High School Fishing World Finals Champion! Combine that with a great registration meeting banquet and a week ending pizza party/ concert for the anglers and you have the makings of a terrific family vacation.
Registration for the HSFWF is now open and all High School Anglers worldwide can attend.
To register, anglers only need to be a member of the Student Angler Federation (SAF) which is as easy as completing the online registration for the event at Highchoolfishing.org. Click on the link below to register.
