FS1 To Air Best Of Bassmaster Beginning January 3
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Fishing fans will be able to spend their Sunday mornings with the world’s best anglers beginning Jan. 3 when FS1 begins airing highlight shows from the Bassmaster Elite Series and 2020 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk. The shows are the ideal opportunity to meet the Elites and learn more about the sport in the run-up to the first tournament and live broadcasts of the 2021 season.
For the first time in history, all nine 2021 Elite events, as well as the Bassmaster Classic, will feature live television coverage on the FOX Sports platforms beginning with the AFTCO Bassmaster Elite Feb. 11-14 on Florida’s famed St. Johns River.
Upcoming episodes will feature highlights of the 2019 and 2020 seasons and be the first time they are aired for the FS1 audience. Among the moments viewers can relive — or experience for the first time — are legendary angler Rick Clunn’s victory on the St. Johns River punctuated by five bass that weighed 34-14 on Championship Sunday and Hank Cherry’s wire-to-wire Bassmaster Classic championship run. Plus, two episodes of Elite Winning Ways focus on the techniques and lures used by 2019 Elite Series champions.
