The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, better known as ICAST, has been recognized by the Trade Show News Network as one of the fastest growing trades shows by attendance in the U.S. Produced by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), ICAST is the world’s largest sportfishing trade show, hosting more than 11,000 representatives from the global sportfishing community.
The Trade Show News Network (TSNN) placed ICAST on its Top 25 Fastest-growing Shows by Attendance for 2011-2013. The award was presented this month during TSNN’s 2014 annual awards conference and gala at the Cleveland (Ohio) Convention Center.
“We appreciate the Trade Show News Network’s recognition that our industry’s trade show continues to grow in size and impact, both domestically and internationally,” said Trade Show Director Kenneth Andres. “ICAST’s continued success reflects both the strength of the sport, the industry and our member companies who exhibit at the show.”
Andres further said, “The consistent uptick in attendance is a direct result of our value-added efforts which includes incorporating new elements such as an expended business seminars schedule as well as refining our marketing and public relations strategies.”
Andres concluded, “This year, we’re giving our trade show website a new look with streamlined navigation making it much easier for both domestic and international exhibitors and attendees to access the show information. It’s part of our continuing efforts to enhance everyone’s show experience.”
ICAST, which had been held in both Las Vegas, Nev., and Orlando, Fla., will be held July 14 – 17, 2015, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
