Livingston Lures pro Jeff Kriet is sitting in 6th with 36 pounds 7 ounces heading into the final day of the 2013 Bassmaster Classic Wild Card event. It is taking place on Lake Okeechobee in Florida, a locale known for big bass and even larger alligators.
“I’m not getting enough bites,” said Kriet. “Every day I’ve lost big ones. The good thing is that I have not lost any digits. Some of the stuff I have to reach into to get fish is so thick. You don’t know what is on the end of the line, a bass or alligator. No alligators so far, just bass.”
