Morgenthaler Benefit Still On

There is a change in beneficiaries for FLW and Mercury pro Chad Morgenthaler’s signature benefit tournament, scheduled for October 6 on Rend Lake in southern Illinois. This year the Illinois Conservation Foundation, which supports youth hunting and fishing, and Five Star Industries, an organization that supports those with developmental disabilities, will be the organizations benefiting from the event.

“We are excited to have the 7th annual event,” said Morgenthaler.  “I’m touring the new Phoenix Boats plant right now. As of today, I am not sure what the water levels are at Rend Lake. As long as there is enough water, we will have the derby.

“Last year we had 100 boats, the biggest event yet. Hopefully, this year it grows again.”  Check out www.chadmorgenthaler.com for more information.
