Adam Neu and Grant Ehlenfeldt bested the field of 140 of the best smallmouth anglers in the country to take home the coveted Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament (SBOBT) bass tournament trophy. This two day event tested the ability of the anglers to adapt, as conditions were drastically different between days 1 and 2. Tubes were the weapon of choice for most anglers including the winners. The key to this tournament is finding the right fish, as Sturgeon bay is absolutely loaded with fish, but a 4 pound average isn’t going to get you close to a check. Again, one of our favorite tournament shoots of the year. The town, people, incredible fishing and scenery, are what makes the Sturgeon Bay area a premier vacation destination.
