Recreational anglers eager to experience Ranger quality and performance without the need for a 20-plus-foot, professional-tournament-ready platform have a new fiberglass boat that easily fits into virtually anyone’s lifestyle and budget. No longer relegated to purchasing used boats or lesser-known aluminum rigs, this entry-level fiberglass bass boat delivers unparalleled fit and finish, the latest must-have fishing features and the industry’s best resale values in a package starting at $25,900 MSRP.

The new Ranger Z175 measures 17 feet, 6 inches and weighs in at 1,250 pounds, making it ideal for use with smaller tow vehicles, easier to maneuver and easier to store in most residential garages. In designing the Z175, Ranger engineers built the boat around a 90-inch beam, which delivers exceptional fishability and increases interior space for more storage and comfort. In short, the debut of Ranger’s Z100 Series delivers fishing and performance features to make it feel like much more than an entry-level rig.

“Few things enhance the fishing experience like being on the water in a boat with the kind of features, fishability, fit and finish of a Ranger,” said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. “This boat is perfect for anglers ready to move into the best-built boats on the water but who prefer something that’s easier to tow and store. With the wider beam and abundance of storage options, the only thing that feels small about this boat is the price.”

Rated for 115 horsepower and available with a wide range of precision-matched outboards, the NMMA-certified Z175 is a single-console boat with a pultruded fiberglass transom, fiberglass stringers and advanced interior design. The boat comes standard with a Minn Kota Edge 70 trolling motor, Lowrance Mark 5X Pro electronics at the console and an on-board Dual Pro charger. Completely redesigned gunnels increase the angle relative to the front casting deck, delivering even more fishing space to complement the recessed foot pedal, built-in LED navigation lights and offset bow panel with room for mounting large-screen electronics.

With an interior reminiscent of much larger boats, the Z175 boasts custom-fitted, premium split-bench seating with space for three including a fold-down center seat that doubles as a step to the rear deck. At the helm, the boat offers a full complement of gauges and membrane-style buttons, as well as anti-feedback steering and space for large flush-mount electronics. The offset console design also allows for longer rods to lay cleanly on the front deck, while a carpeted port side rod storage holds space for even more sticks up to eight feet in length. Stainless steel cupholders and gunnel storage on the starboard and passenger sides, molded driver and passenger footrests, a runnin’ rod rack and built-in insulated cooler highlight the additional enhancements to the form and function of this well-appointed fishing rig.

In addition, storage compartments feature gas spring-assisted lids and stainless steel compression locks, while the rear casting deck boasts more fishing space, a recirculating, aerated livewell plus more dry storage and easy access to batteries and oil at the stern.

The new Z175 comes standard with a single-axle RangerTrail® trailer, designed and built specifically for the hull to ensure solid towing performance and easy maneuvering for the life of the boat. All RangerTrail® trailers are equipped with a durable Road Armor finish, designed to shield against rock chips, road debris and other hazards while helping retain higher resale value and peace of mind. Each trailer also offers LED lights, aluminum wheels, COOL Hub® lubrication system, torsion axle suspension and a locking, swing-away tongue with matching fiberglass fenders and a full-size spare.
