Alumacraft is proud to announce that they have teamed up with FLW Tour Walmart angler Nicole Jacobs.
Nicole is a FLW Tour Walmart angler that travels across the country in her FLW Walmart wrapped truck. When you see her she may be heading to the next Tour event to learn as a co-angler, or to a BFL event to fish as a pro. Her goal is to reach people by making a difference in their lives, through her passion for fishing and the outdoors. She strives to use the spot light that tournament angling has put on her to inspire others to follow their dreams.
Jimmy Bell, Alumacraft’s Corporate Manager of the A-Team says, “When we look for promotional partners to add to our prestigious A-Team, we not only look for strong anglers and ambassadors, but also individuals that match the values and integrity of the company. Nicole portrays these values on and off the tournament trail and our tag line of Families Fishing Forever was instilled in her at a young age.” Nicole will be highlighting Alumacraft’s Pro 185 Bass Boat, powered by Yamaha’s VMAX SHO.
In 2012 Nicole suffered a great deal of tragedy. In a period of a few months she lost her father to cancer and was in a debilitating car accident. Through those times she relied on her strong faith, which came from her father, along with heUntitled1 love of fishing to provide comfort.
Ultimately it was her father and her faith that were the driving factors for her to pursue a career in fishing. Nicole got her first taste of tournament fishing in 2013 and instantly fell in love with it. The fishing industry embraced her successes just as quickly, and she has become an ambassador for Walmart and many other major brands.
Her mission statement of “Empowering others to follow their passions through Faith and Fishing”, truly tells the world the type of person she is.
