Nitro Boats, BPS Tournament Rewards Among PAA Benefits

BENTON, Ken. (May 10, 2010) – Qualified anglers competing in the 2010 PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix can earn up to $7,000 in bonus money through the BPS Tournament Rewards program, the most lucrative tournament incentive program in the industry.

The program is for qualified owners of Nitro, Tracker and ProCraft boats. Nitro Boats is an Associate Sponsor of tournament series. Weigh-in on the final day of each tournament this season will be held at Bass Pro Shops stores, where fans can meet the pros and enjoy the experience of visiting the stores for shopping and dining.
Tournament Rewards bonuses may be paid in addition to the $50,000 in cash and prizes paid to each winner of tournament series, which begins July 8-10 on Cherokee Lake in Morristown, Tenn.
“Bass Pro Shops is proud to partner with the PAA and sponsor the 2010 PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series,” said Rick Emmitt, Marketing Manager of Angler Programs and Pro Staff for the Bass Pro/Tracker Marine Group.
“The best anglers in the world will be fishing these events,” Emmitt said. “To host tournament registrations and the final day weigh-in at our stores is a tremendous opportunity to showcase these anglers and bring the fans together to grow the sport of fishing. We plan to have on-site promotions, product demonstrations and special events at the stores centered around the tournament dates. Each tournament will be a wonderful experience for fishing fans around the country.”
Tournament Rewards bonuses also are available for qualified Nitro, Tracker and ProCraft owners who compete in the PAA Corporate Cup, scheduled for June 3-4, and the PAA Jamboree, on June 5. Both tournaments will be held on Pickwick Lake in Florence, Ala.
