After a stellar season fishing the Bassmaster Elite Series, Brandon Palaniuk is taking some well-deserved time off prior to leaving home for sponsor duties.

“Last weekend I fished a local tournament with a friend on Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho,” said Palaniuk. “We won with a one-day total of 26.89 pounds.
“A couple of 6-pound largemouth and a couple of 5-pound smallmouth and a smaller fish are what we brought in. The bass fishing on that lake is awesome.
Elk hunting is on the menu as well for Brandon.
“I’ve been unsuccessful bow hunting for elk this year,” said Palaniuk. “However, tomorrow (October 10) rifle season opens for Elk in Idaho. I am going out to see what I can find. Then Thursday I fly out to take care of my boat and then all sorts of sponsor meetings.”
