It is estimated that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Pure Fishing is on a mission to bring awareness for early detection. Pure Fishing was built on a foundation of service and a willingness to help those in need. Since 2007, Pure Fishing has dedicated its support to help raise awareness of breast cancer.
Pure Fishing continues to support the American Breast Cancer Foundation. The partnership between the two help men and women become more aware of the risks.
Shakespeare® began the program in 2007 and Ugly Stik® joined the program one year later. Future donation plans were set into place and expanded to encompass Pure Fishing Brands Shakespeare and Pflueger®. Donations from the company to the ABCF to date exceed $255,000.
“The donations made to the ABCF are our way of giving back,” Cara Finger, Pure Fishing Director of Marketing Services, said. “Shakespeare® LadyFish™ series provides anglers with the opportunity to fund a worthy cause. We all must be aware of the dangers that are associated with breast cancer, and donating a portion of the sales from this series helps ABCF to continue its goal of prevention.”
There are many ways anglers can help ABCF. Whether it is through the purchase of the Shakespeare Ladyfish series or the Pflueger Lady Trion series, anglers can provide support by purchasing these combos that were built specifically for lady anglers.
Everything about the combos are designed to embrace the heart of the female angler. Enhancements include lighter weights and smaller grips to make fishing more comfortable.
A portion of the proceeds from all Ladyfish and Lady Trion sales are donated to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
