Roumbanis Ran

“I ran all over the place today,” said Fred Roumbanis. “I was the 40th boat out today and was the first angler to my area. I knew I had to get there early and catch what I could. Once the locks were opened, the area was done.”

Roumbanis weighed three fish weighing 9 pounds 5 ounces.  He sits in 14th.

“I didn’t go to my best spot. I’ll make the run to that area tomorrow and probably just have 2 or 3 hours to fish.”

Hartley Happy

“A lot of guys talk about how they knew they were gonna catch fish,” said Charlie Hartley. “I never know if I’m gonna catch a fish. I hope I can go out and do it again tomorrow.”

Hartley weighed 5 fish for 8 pounds 15 ounces, enough for 17th after Day 1.

Starbucks Scroggins

“I am just tickled to catch one today,” said Terry Scroggins. “It looked like I was fishing in a cappuccino today. By the end of the day, it started to clear up a bit. I’m looking forward to going out and catching them tomorrow.”

Scroggins had 3 fish weighing 9 pounds 11 ounces, placing him in 12th.
