Oliver Springs, TN – EZ Troll announces a new product called the EZ Troll Step today. The announcement comes after the completion of tournament trail testing by an extensive list of Bassmaster Elite Series anglers including Bill Lowen, Ott Defoe, Cliff Crochet and Bradley Roy.
The EZ Troll Step offers boaters convenience and safety when boarding and disembarking a trailered boat. It also provides easier access to storage compartments from outside a boat. The word from the Elite Series is that the EZ Troll Step is a winner. “I’ve found the EZ Troll Step is a much better way to enter and exit my boat. With it I can now access the large center compartment and rod lockers more easily too,” said DeFoe.
Chris Edmonston of the BoatUS Foundation strongly encourages boaters to implement safety measures like the EZ Troll Step. “Having been in the marine industry for more than 25 years, I’ve seen too many accidents at the launch ramp when people lose their balance or slip off a trailer. Having something as simple as a trailer step could help avoid this common and needless accident.”
The steps are quickly becoming a topic of conversation in the parking lot. “Honestly, I get as many questions about the EZ Troll Step as I did when I first put Power Poles on my boat,” said Crochet. “People recognize a good idea when they see it. Then they step up on it and comment how well it is constructed.”
EZ Troll Steps install in minutes and require no maintenance. Models are available for mounting on the trailer tongue ($89.95) and for the trailer sides ($79.95). The models for trailer sides are compatible with most boat and utility trailers, fitting frames from 1.5″ W x 4″H (aluminum boats like Bass Trackers) to 2″ W x 5″ H (fiberglass boats of all sizes). The steps are constructed of rotational molded polyethylene plastic and are UV color molded throughout. They are high impact resistant, salt water safe, and will not rust, fade or chip.
