In this edition of Three Questions, BassFIRST breaks down the international boundaries and heads to the Great White North (that is Canada for you hosers that don’t know).
The subject interrogated this time? None other than Lund Boats/Shimano bass pro and moose hunter extraordinaire Jeff Gustafson. If this guy can stare down a bull moose he can answer Three Questions. Come on now!
DL – Are you a fan of curling, why or why not?
JG – I’m a fan of curling when the Canadians are whipping everybody else at the big events like the Olympics or the World Championships. These events are always on television nationally in Canada and you always know somebody who is watching them.
I’ve only done it a few times and it’s a lot harder than it looks so I have some respect for how good the great players are. I’m more of a hockey guy though, I love hockey.
DL – What is your dream fishing trip you’ve yet to take?
JG – My dream fishing trip is probably a far north trip, river fishing for trout or salmon. Arctic char fishing on the Tree River in the Northwest Territories comes to mind first.
The fish are big and beautiful, the scenery looks incredible and cell phones won’t work there.
DL – Are you a steak or dessert guy?
JG – I’m totally a steak guy. Moose steak! I’ve never been a big dessert guy, drives my wife nuts because she loves a good dessert. I’ll take a good steak meal every time.
