We Love to Fish, a Massachusetts non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the love of fishing with intellectually disabled adults, is pleased to announce the 2014 We Love to Fish John Murray and Josh Bertrand fishing day on January 24th on Saguaro Lake in Arizona. Located forty miles from downtown Phoenix, Saguaro will serve as a perfect backdrop for this amazing day.
Seven participants of We Love to Fish’s program in Massachusetts will travel to Arizona to enjoy a day of fishing with Bassmaster Elite Series Pros John Murray and Josh Bertrand. This is the first time many of these participants have been on such a trip and they are excited to see what Arizona has to offer.
Murray, a seven time Bassmaster Classic qualifier said; “the outdoors has always been my source of fulfillment and contentment, said Murray. “Hopefully it can be the same for the We Love to Fish participants we are taking out, that is our goal.”
While the idea to host the day was Murray’s, fellow Arizonian and Elite Series competitor Bertrand is also looking forward to the day. “Working with participants from We Love to Fish is an incredibly rewarding opportunity,” said Bertrand. “Fishing is a universal language, and I can’t wait to get out on the water with them and have some fun.”
Director of We Love to Fish Rob Lever is also looking forward to the day. When asked what this opportunity meant to his organization; he said, “this is a once in a lifetime trip and experience for our guys,” said Lever. “To work with Murray and Bertrand on this day has been wonderful, and I’m excited for them to meet the amazing participates of We Love to Fish.”
