Bass fishing on the Susquehanna River in June is unique to most other locations in the commonwealth.
The Susquehanna, from the Sunbury fiber dam to the Maryland state line, is closed to bass fishing of any kind from May 1-June 17.The moratorium, even for catch-and-release angling, has changed the landscape of the fishery.
