Pro bass angler wannabes will have an opportunity to get their feet wet competing against other real professional fishermen, gain a following on social media, and collect career earnings as they negotiate sponsorship opportunities with more than 50 licensed partners, including Bass Cat, Evinrude, Korda, 13 Fishing, Booyah, and RidgeMonkey.
U.K.-based Dovetail Games will unveil Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour in July, featuring professional Fishing League Worldwide anglers Scott Martin and Ali Hamidi, and almost 100 pro anglers for players to compete against.
Players will begin their own angling careers and work their ways up to the elites by rising through the rankings.
When they gain a following on social media and fish against over 100 pro anglers including Martin, Hamidi, John Crews, Bryan Thrift, Dave Levy and Ian Russell, the player chooses whether to fish for bass, carp, predator or all three at a professional level.
