Jigging for success
By WADE ROBERTSON
Daylight was just breaking when we backed the boat into the lake. A gentle mist danced delicately above the water’s surface, gently swirling, twisting and turning, rising and falling, as light as gossamer and enchanting to watch.
The air was cool, though, and I gratefully slipped on my jacket which I almost neglected to bring. It’s always wise to bring heavier clothes than you think you’ll need, especially in this area. Though it may rise into the 70s or 80s during the day, some mornings definitely carry a damp chill, especially out on the water with a breeze.
