Outdoor Horizons Radio for 6/29 with Guest Billy Lindner
Here is Saturday’s Outdoor Horizons Radio with special guest, James Lindner, of Lindner’s Angling Edge and Lindner Media Productions. James is the son of Ron Lindner and nephew of Al Lindner. James worked at In-Fisherman before the business was sold and does about everything at Lindner’s Media including being on camera for many of the shows and videos. Lindner is a multi-species expert and loves muskie and smallmouth fishing. Tony and I had a wonderful interview with James talking about many aspects of fishing and what is going on with the Lindner’s.rnrnDespite all the rain that we’ve been having, we have some fishing reports from the local area and around the state for you. Muskie fishing has been picking up and the smallmouth and white bass have been hot on Lake Mendota. The walleyes are scattered on most lakes, but Lake Wisconsin has been producing some nice fish. Bluegills are still biting on many lakes and the crappies are scattered now in deep water locations around the lake.rnrnEmily Hopkins of Monona won the First Youth Muskie Tournament sponsored by the Capital City Chapter of Muskies Inc. This was her first muskie she had ever caught and was over 47 inches long. Second place went to Chase Mikula of Sun Prairie and third place went to Seth Niday of Oregon. Thanks to the Capital City Chapter of Muskies, Inc. and the Madison Fishing Expo.rn rn
