Cabela’s® and NPAA Partner to Teach Ice Fishing Skills Cabela’s Ice Fishing Classic Celebration To commence December 14th & 15th

Owatonna, MN. (November 18, 2013) –In the Land of 10,000 lakes there is endless opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors right in your backyard; Walleye Fishing Pro Kirt Hedquist says “We live in the land of 10,000 opportunities to get outside.” This time of year one of those opportunities is ice fishing; and Minnesotans love their ice fishing, in fact there is at times thousands of folks fishing at any given time on many of Minnesota’s Lakes.
The NPAA which is made up by many of today’s greatest walleye fishing professionals will host a Kids Ice Fishing Clinic at the Owatonna, MN Cabela’s during the Cabela’s Ice Fishing Classic Celebration December 14th & 15th. The kids ice fishing clinic is open to youth of all ages and skill levels, prizes will be awarded to participants and all will be sure to have a great time.
Walleye Fishing Pro and NPAA Member Kirt Hedquist said “We take great pride in teaching kids about ice fishing and ice safety; we are excited to partner with Cabela’s to provide this unique opportunity to reach out to kids in the community.” Children who attend the Kids Fishing Clinic will be sure to learn all the basic skills needed to head out to their local fishing spot and reel in great memories in the outdoors.
