A jig is a jig is a jig. Come on now, it’s a fixed weight on a hook. This basic design has been around forever, seemingly. So, what’s the big deal about Clam Outdoors introducing another jig to the already saturated jig market? A lot more than you’d think.

So, what does the high-percentage harder tungsten provide that other jigs don’t? According to Crane, plenty.

“Our Drop Tg transmits a signal like no other. It’s comparable to the first time you switch from monofilament line to a superline. The sensitivity difference is that much improved.

“With the small profile, this jighead will allow you to present finesse approaches where you couldn’t be as effective before. It’s so versatile. This is especially important on highly pressured public waters. Once you fish with the Drop Tg, you’ll never want to use lead again.”
