Fishing: The Sport That Always Gives Back
Grand Prairie, TX (March 16, 2020) – The 20th anniversary Brian “Bro” Brosdahl Road Show has come to a close. Another Frabill Bro Road Show is in the books and this year’s grand prize winner reminds us what fishing is really about: the good times and the friends you make along the way.
Josh Leemon from Wisconsin was the grand prize winner and fished with Bro on January 30th at a “secret” lake near Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Josh also received a Frabill prize pack worth $570, including the Fortress Ice Shelter, Arctic Fire combos, Magnum Bait Station, Tackle Bag, and Ice Rod case. There were also three Monthly Prize Winners who took home a Frabill prize pack worth $130.00 each: Anthony Meadows, Jason Wicker and John Browe.
Josh, along with his friend Brian were treated to a fishing trip they would never forget with one of the world’s best ice fishing guides, Bro. “It was a blast! The day went really well despite the very tough conditions with ice and slush.” Bro remarks. “We found an area holding fish and we used snowmobiles to get there. I picked up Josh and Brian early on Thursday. We had lunch on the ice and dinner at one of my favorite local restaurants. It was a jig bite then the dead sticks kicked in late morning through the rest of the day.”
“As far as the fishing, I caught the first and largest perch, Josh caught the most.
His partner Brian got the largest Crappie. I told the guys, we all won!”
“Bro is very passionate about what he does and is a great teacher.” said Josh after the trip of a lifetime. “He got us catching fish right away and stayed consistent throughout the day. He brought lunch out on the ice and then took us to eat afterwards. The cabin was gorgeous! My buddy and I walked out in front of the resort Wednesday when we arrived and Friday before we left and caught a few fish as well.”
“I just want to thank Frabill/Plano and Bro for this opportunity. It was a lot of fun and I made another friend along the way.”
