China ice fishing boosting tourism

The 17th Chagan Lake Ice Fishing Festival is about to kick off in China’s Jilin Province, featuring ice fishing displays, ice sculpture and traditional folk arts. This year, it is predicted approximately 1,500 tons of fish caught in the lake will hit the market with the ancient tradition working to boost the local economy and tourism.
