MYMTT Summary
Minnesota Youth Muskie Tournament Trail (MYMTT) is a series of statewide virtual
tournaments, each of which can advance teams to the Minnesota high school muskie state
championship.
Event Schedule
● MYMTT Statewide Virtual Qualifier #1 – June 11-19, 2022
● MYMTT Statewide Virtual Qualifier #2 – June 25 – July 4, 2022
● MYMTT Statewide Virtual Qualifier #3 – July 9-17, 2022
Event Parameters
● During each virtual qualifier tournament, participants can fish any 2 days within the tournament
period. Maximum fishing days is 2 per tournament.
● Participants will be required to communicate their fishing days to the tournament director prior
to the start of each tournament period. This is communicated via the registration forms.
● Participants will be required to use FishDonkey to capture photos of the caught fish and submit
the fish to tournament officials.

○ All participants and boat captains are expected to read the rules prior to tournament
participation.
● Awards will take place at the conclusion of each tournament. Dave Schueck will email teams
that place 1st or 2nd and will coordinate pickup/shipment of their prizes.
Advancing to State Championship – August 12, 2022 on Lake Vermilion
● The top 2 teams from each qualifier tournament will advance to the state championship.
● “Team of the Year” will advance to the state championship.
○ Teams will accrue points for each of the statewide virtual qualifier tournaments. The
team with the most points after all 3 qualifiers will be designated as team of the year.
● Any team that catches a muskie 40 inches or more in any of the virtual qualifier tournaments will
be entered into a random drawing. On July 18, 2022, we will randomly draw 1 of those teams to
advance to the state championship.
