How to Speak Musky with Pete Maina & Kristine Fischer

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of fishing with Kristine Fischer. Some of you may know Kristine from her kayak bass fishing. However, at heart Kristine is a die-hard musky angler. If you have not heard of Kristine you need to check out her social media. She lives eats and breaths fishing.

From the weather to the fish, nothing seemed to be cooperating with us. But hey that’s musky fishing! We had fun and in the end, we were able to put a nice fish in the boat.

The number one thing we learned on this trip was that you can’t be nice to the fish. In fact, things seem to work out better when you speak downright nasty to these fish. “Musky Suck!”
