Muskie Anglers Circuit Minocqua Tournament CANCELLED
The Muskie Anglers Circuit announced today the Minocqua MAC scheduled for June 5,6 and 7 has been cancelled. Regretfully, the entries in the Minocqua event have been low, and the MAC feels that the payout would not reach the level competitive anglers would find acceptable. The event will not be rescheduled due to the full weekend schedule from the Hartman Series, MAC Series, and other competitive Muskie angling events of note including the WMT and PMTT.
Teams already registered for the balance of the MAC Schedule will hold their start positions for the MAC based on registration date. Team of the Year will be decided from participation in the Leech Lake, Holcombe, and Vermilion events. Registered anglers will be contacted by the MAC directly.
The first Hartman Series MAC on Mille Lacs is scheduled for July 18 and 19 out of Hunters Resort. The MAC Hartman Series tournament entry fee is $500, and first place will pay $15,200.00 with a full field. Registrations will be accepted up to July 11th, and field size will be announced July 3rd, and again on the 11th.

The MAC Leech Lake event is next on the schedule and currently looks to be a well attended event due to the popularity of Leech Lake. The Vermilion event also looks strong at this juncture, and Holcombe is well on the way to a great turnout. Entries will be accepted until August 12th for the Leech lake MAC. Rules meeting and tournament headquarters will be announced on the MAC website by June 6th. First place with a full field in the Leech Lake MAC will be $30,000.00.
The Muskie Anglers Circuit was formed to:
a) provide a national competitive arena and media platform to showcase the abilities and personalities of the sport’s most skilled competitive muskie anglers
b) promote muskie angling and conservation and to provide educational opportunities for current and future generations of anglers and
c) showcase products and service that support the sport of muskie fishing.
All MAC tournaments are CPR (Catch, Photo, and Immediate Release).
