Winter Overtakes The Northern Musky Range

December-like temperatures in November have iced-over musky lakes throughout the northern range with the exception of only the largest waters. Of course, for anglers willing to travel to stay on the hot bite, there’s always the option of fishing a southern water.

If you’re already looking ahead to the 2020 season, in this newsletter we have the 2020 musky show schedule, winter seminars, whether you should get your reels serviced, and what to expect in the December 2019/January 2020 issue of Musky Hunter magazine.

Get Your Reels Serviced Now
Getting your reels ready for the upcoming season is as important as maintaining your boat or truck. A person who fishes a week or two a year could skip service every other year, but the average fisherperson should consider service every year.

The best time to service your reels is when you shut your boat down at the end of the season. For more information, visit matsreelrepair.com
