Trolling Echotails in the fall using the “BOTTOM GRINDING” technique. The Echotail is built out of stainless steal that allows it to take a constant pounding being dragged to deflect off rocks, gravel and sand with out compromising the head of the blade. As the Echotail is used as a lipless crank bait, the nose tilts down keeping the hooks up of the bottom preventing snags. Be sure to remove the front hook from the nose of the lure. This technique has been one of our top producing trolling technique in the fall as fish lay on the bottom near structure. The hard vibration from the blade & tail combined with the plums/trails of sand, gravel and mud creates an unbelievable reaction bite.
