(WKOW) — There’s some March madness happening on the Fox River near De Pere.
In late March and early April, thousands of walleye from the Bay of Green Bay head there to spawn and the Anglers follow.
Right now, the river is jam-packed with boats.
“Oh, one of the top places, absolutely,” said Fritz Peterson, a Sturgeon Bay fishing guide. “I mean look at the people that are out here. They come from all over the state of Wisconsin and other states.”
