This season’s big news besides the awesome fishing Eagle Lake is well known for is the new lodge building that was completed last May. It is one of the most accommodating and beautiful of all NW Ontario fishing lodges with an unmatched lake view to enjoy while dining, mingling and talking fishing, or watching your favorite sports venue as well as informative and instructive fishing seminars to get you on track and in the pictures.
A 3500 square ft 1st floor with a huge outside deck facing the lake, a large spacious dining area complete with rustic wood tables and chairs and a spectacular full floor to ceiling window view of Eagle Lake awaits guests at breakfast and dinner or just relaxing.
Central air and heat was included for a nice cozy all season or weather comfort zone complimented by a large lounge and gathering area with comfortable seating and big screen TVs for multiple venue viewing, socializing and seminars.
A quiet corner table/internet café and media area with multiple electrical outlets and USB ports for the sportsmen that get away every chance they can but need to check in and catch up here and there.
Separate clothing, gift, and tackle shops and last but certainly not least the main office and business center complete the main floor.
The 2nd story houses Julian and family’s residence and also 3 spacious private motel style A/P, light housekeeping package rooms. They were designed for no vacancy periods and those whose only care is about being at AML, on the water every minute they can, a good hot meal, and a place to sleep or for small parties on short and/or off schedule stays.
