AIM Announces Fishing Charter Prize Awarded to Co-Anglers

Plymouth, WI – June 4, 2009- Anglers Insight Marketing LLC™ (AIM) announced today that two lucky Co-anglers enjoyed a free bonus fishing charter on Saginaw Bay.

On May 22 – 24, 2009, the AIM Pro Walleye Series™ brought teams of 45 Pro Anglers and Co-anglers to Bay City, Michigan. The format of the AIM Pro Walleye Series™ has all the Pro Anglers fishing the first two days of the event, and then only the top 50% of the field on Day Three. These 23 Pros were paired with 23 lucky Co-anglers for the final day of the tournament.
But the fishing wasn’t over for all of the rest of the Co-angler field. Local fishing Charter Captain, Ryan Sagady of Bay Sportfishing, offered the prize of a free one-day charter to two Co-anglers that were not paired with Day Three Pros. This prize – valued at $300.00 – was awarded at the AIM Rules Meeting on May 21st.
Captain Ryan and his guests left from the Veterans’ Park launch just after the start of the third day of the AIM Pro Walleye Series™. They faced the same conditions as the rest of the tournament field with moderate winds and waves. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the party finished the day by catching their 3-man limit of Saginaw Bay walleyes from 17″ to 20″ – perfect frying pan size! The most effective presentation was slow trolling crawler harnesses in 10 to 12 feet of water near the Callahan Reef area – an area also being targeted by several of the AIM Pro Walleye Series™ finalist teams.
AIM would like to thank Captain Ryan of Bay Sportfishing for his generous donation of this fishing charter. This contribution helped AIM exceed the expectations of the Co-angler participants – about half of which had never fished in a Pro-Am tournament before! Captain Ryan also related, “Thanks a lot for bringing the AIM Pro Walleye Series™ to town! You did an awesome job of showcasing our great fishery and this event was a huge boost to the local economy. The people of the Saginaw Bay region are very grateful. Come back soon!”
