Plymouth, WI – August 21, 2009 – Anglers Insight Marketing LLC™ (AIM) announces that Todd Riley leads the “Angler of the Year” race heading into the final 2009 tournament.

The recent AIM Pro Walleye Series™ tournament in Akaska, SD shuffled the standings in the 2009 AIM Angler of the Year race. Todd Riley, an AIM Pro Angler from Amery, WI surged into the lead on the strength of his strong third place finish. This follows an 11th place in Bay City, MI and an 8th place finish in the Green Bay tournament.

Close behind Riley is Tom Kemos of Oconomowoc, WI who is second in the year-to-date “AOY” standings. John Kolinski of Greenville, WI holds the third place position following the SD tournament.

The top three in the AIM Angler of the Year standings are the recipients of free entries to the season-ending AIM International Walleye Championship™ to be held September 2-4 at Lake Winnibigoshish in northern Minnesota. Registration for the 2009 Championship is limited to the AIM Pro Anglers that have qualified by fishing at least one prior AIM Pro Walleye Series™ qualifying tournament.

Just missing the Top Three positions are the Father and Son combination of Chase Parsons and Gary Parsons, who are in 4th and 5th in the overall standings to date. Mike Gofron has moved into 6th place going into the final 2009 event as a result of his recent victory at the Akaska AIM Pro Walleye Series™ tournament.

In addition, for 2009 AIM has chosen to grant free entries to the two Pro Anglers that have posted the greatest advances in Angler of the Year rankings since the first tournament at Bay City, MI. These entries are extended to David Andersen of Amery, WI and Joe Okada of Fitchburg, WI. David and Joe advanced 21 and 24 places to their current standings of 10th and 12th places, respectively.
