The AIM Family Mourns the Passing of David Anderson.
The AIM organization was saddened by the news of the sudden passing of David Anderson on Thursday, December 3rd. Dave suffered a heart attack and hospital staff was unable to revive him.
Dave was a long time tournament Pro Angler, an AIM Owner from the beginning, and an important member of the AIM Board of Directors. His perspective and steady optimism will not be forgotten.
David and Lois Anderson purchased Bay and Bay Transfer in 1988. Over the years the company grew and a new terminal was constructed in Rosemount, MN. In 2004 Dave was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2005, Dave became the CEO and Chairman of the company after naming his son, Sam as his successor as President.
Dave will be remembered as a dedicated family man who often had his grandchildren in tow at tournament weigh-ins. He loved fishing tournaments and the camaraderie of his fellow anglers.
The funeral for David Anderson is being conducted by the White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley, MN 55124.) Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9th. The funeral service will be at St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Eagan, MN on December 10th.
