Congratulations and THANKS to all 84 teams that fished the MWS Green Bay tournament.
I would also like to THANK all the anglers that assisted us when a big wind came up during tournament registration Saturday. Without you help we would have had damage to our tents and awning. Thanks to your help we had no damage, and were able to run the tournament without having to repair or replaced equipment. Thanks again on behalf of Ray myself and the entire TFM staff.
The sun was out all day with a little walleye chop. Many of the teams said they caught a numbers of fish while others struggled to catch fish. Success varied from early to all day. Sixty one teams weighed a three fish limit. There was a total of 212 fish caught weighing a total of 1078.78#.
The team of Brian Keller and Larry Eaton took first place with three fish weighing 26.64# winning them $3,600. Second place went to the team of Rick Henriksen and Tom Zollar with three fish totaling 23.46# for $2,000. Third place went to the team of Tim Euting and Cameron Lewis with three fish weighing 22.02# for $1,100. Tim and Cameron also had the big fish of the tournament weighing 9.96# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, a $100 gift certificate donated by TRS The Reel Shot and two gift certificates from Anglers Pride Specilities. Fourth place went to the team of Pete Petta and John Van Norman with three fish totaling 22.00# for $850. Fifth place went to the team of John De Bauche and Brian Paul with three fish weighing 21.70# for $700.
The Jack’s Jig, Big Eye Custom Lures award went to the team of Scott Robak and Mitch Stoycoff
The Intruder Products award went to the team of Eric Balstad and Gary Gavaert
The Drop n Stay award went to the team of John Omelina and Mike Rabetski
Current Team of the year is Tim Euting and Cameron Lewis. Chris Schrader and Scott Schrader are the current Sibling Team of the year. The current parent/child Team of the year is Steve Wiedmeyer and Mike Wiedmeyer. Current husband/wife team of the year is Ron Goldapske and Vickie Goldapske.
