Cabela’s Walleye Classic and 1st Annual Boat Show To commence April 14th & 15th

Owatonna, MN. (March 20, 2012) – Every year about 1.4 million fishing licenses are sold in Minnesota, and in fact about one in every four Minnesotans have a fishing license (Go Fish N). Cabela’s will again feature hands-on, outdoor and educational activities for all ages to participate, many pertaining directly to these fishing license holders.

In addition, local industry celebrities such as Babe Winkelman, Brian “Bro” Brosdahl, Bill Shimota, and “Mr. Walleye” Gary Roach, will be on-site holding seminars and signing autographs. Further, several expert manufacturers’ representatives will also be in-store.

The National Professional Anglers Association will be on-site with their fishing pros to put on a youth fishing clinic as well as a kids casting event. The kids fishing clinic and casting event are open to youth of all ages and skill levels. Prizes will be awarded to participants and all will be sure to have a great time.

Owatonna Cabela’s Power Sports Department will be hosting the 1st Annual Boat Show which will feature many new and used models of boats to choose from to fit the needs of today’s walleye fisherman.
