Cabelas Fishing Demonstration hosted By NPAA Member at St. Croix River Fest

National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA) member Tom Bauer #555 and Cabelas fishing and marketing staff presented a fishing demonstration seminar at the  St. Croix River Fest in Hudson, Wisconsin on July 14th.  Tom and Cabelas fishing and marketing staff demonstrated river fishing tactics which included: water safety, picking the correct rod for different types of fishing, leadcore line setups, Off Shore planer boards, Aquatic Invasive Species message ‘Clean Drain Dry’ and aquatic conservation.  During the demonstration, kids and adults, spent time using rods/reels, asking questions about “How Deep” will lures run and “Do these crazy colors really work”.   Once the demonstration was completed the kids and adults were able to ask questions about his tournament rig(boat/motor) that he had on display.

Each child went home with fishing related items including T-shirts, sunglass holder and water bottle that were donated by NPAA and Future Angler Foundation.
