Cabela’s MWC Registration Opens Jan. 10

January 4, 2011-MINNETONKA, MN-Registration for the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’as 2011 season opens at 8 a.m. (Central) on January 10. With nine qualifying tournaments in three divisions, the Cabela’s MWC offers world-class fishing, premier destinations and hefty payouts at events across the heart of the Walleye Belt.

The MWC plans to give away more than $1 million in cash in 2011. Plus, sponsors have added thousands of dollars in contingencies to the payout at each tournament. In addition, teams enjoy the added financial incentives of competing for a berth in the Cabela’s MWC World Walleye Championship. Each season, the MWC’s top teams are invited to the no-entry-fee $100,000 Championship, to battle for ultimate bragging rights and a $25,000 first-place check.

Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter for hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is entering its tenth season as title sponsor of the MWC.
