MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (November 6, 2014) – The Cabela’s National Walleye Tour (NWT) recently unveiled the 2015 schedule, which includes three regular-season events and a championship, all nationally televised and taking place on some of the country’s premier walleye fisheries.
The regular season kicks off May 8, 2015, on the Mississippi River in Lake City, Minnesota. The NWT will move to Leech Lake in Walker, Minnesota, on June 12-13, before heading to Green Bay, Wisconsin, on July 24-25 for the final regular-season event. In September, the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour will return to famed Devils Lake, North Dakota for the 2015 Tour Championship. Official registration for the 2015 season will begin Jan. 5, 2015.
All 2015 NWT events feature 100% payback. A fully rigged Ranger Boat, plus cash, is guaranteed for first place at each event – a minimum total value of $57,000. Multiple contingency programs are available for even higher payout. Anglers that fish all three regular-season events, in addition to the top points leaders, will qualify for the three-day, entry-fee championship.
The Cabela’s National Walleye Tour also includes unmatched television and media coverage, allowing a national audience to watch the action unfold from each event throughout the season. Airing on multiple networks, the NWT will be seen on the Pursuit Channel, NBC Sports Network and Fox Sports Net North.
