Chip Leer to Host Woodbury Cabela’s first Walleye Classic

Cabela’s Announces Free Walleye Focused Weekend April 18th-19th, 2015;
A Celebration to Be Hosted by Minnesota’s Own Chip Leer
Woodbury, MN March 30, 2015 The Woodbury, MN Cabela’s is proud to announce Minnesota’s own Chip Leer to be the host of their very first Walleye Classic; an event rooted deep in the Minnesota Cabela’s history as one of the largest retail walleye events around. Cabela’s Marketing Manager Danny Thompson said “We are very proud to have Chip celebrate this great event with us at the Woodbury store, as there is no one better to host a walleye fishing event then him.” Chip is no stranger to hosting TV shows or fishing events, in fact he’s the host of the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour.
In addition to Chip Leer, industry celebrities and Pros such as Tony Roach, Humminbird Pro Scott Peterson, Lowrance Pro Kirt Hedquist, Evinrude’s Kevin Kerkvilet, Cabela’s Pro Danny Thompson, In Depth Outdoors Co-Host Joel Nelson and many more will be on-site holding seminars, signing autographs and sharing their knowledge in the Fishing Department. Further, several expert manufacturers’ representatives will also be in-store.
For the 3rd year in a row, Cabela’s has teamed up with The All-Star Walleye School to bring a once in a life time look into the world of walleye fishing as Walleye Fishing Pros Brian “Bro” Brosdahl, Eric Olson, and Mark Courts join forces to bring you the All-Star Walleye Panel emceed by fishing legend Chip Leer! This event will be like nothing anglers have ever seen before and will leave them with a higher level of fishing knowledge and skill that only panels like this can provide.
