Darling and Trana Win North Dakota Devils Lake WWA Team Challenge

Rick Darling and Jeff Trana won the second scheduled event in the World Walleye Association North Dakota Team Challenge held on Devils Lake Sunday May 15th. This was actually the first event of the year for the WWA North Dakota Team Challenge anglers since the first scheduled event was cancelled due to inclement weather and will be rescheduled for a later date.Darling and Trana had a total weight of 17.16-pounds which included the big fish of the tournament weighing an impressive 9.57- pounds.Jeff Trana stated he and Rick Darling were fishing with jigs tipped with minnows in Creel Bay.Second place was the team of Al Freidig and Tim Rutten.
