Anglers Insight Marketing LLC (AIM™) is pleased to welcome Dennis (Denny) Fox to the AIM event staff as the Wisconsin Tournament Director of the newly announced AIM Weekend Walleye Series.

Denny brings a unique skill set and a diverse list of accomplishments in the fishing world to the position with AIM. He is the founder and tournament director of the highly successful Fort Fremont Marine “Walleye Classic” which is held on the Wolf River every April. Denny is no stranger to running large scale walleye events dealing with anglers, weather, and all other responsibilities and details that a tournament director must contend with. He has also fished competitively with great success at many different tournament events over the years, and this experience has given him a complete understanding of both sides of the competitive walleye game.

“It was important to find someone who was not only a capable tournament director, but also someone who understands and is confident in our Catch-Record-Release (CRR) system,” says Aim Board Member Tom Kemos, “and we are really happy that Denny has accepted the challenge of helping us set a new course in team-style competition using our CRR tournament format.”

Denny’s love for “The Game” stems way back to the early PWT days, and his roots in the Saginaw Bay region.

“Over the years I have felt public perception of tournaments and tournament anglers was starting to slip a little” says Fox, who now lives in Weyauwega, WI, near the Wolf River and the Lake Winnebago Chain. “Then AIM was formed and started holding CRR style tournaments promoting conservation, and I was intrigued enough by this to enter an AIM event at Oconto to see firsthand how the CRR process worked. What I found was CRR brings the fun back into the sport in so many ways, and it also ensures a level playing field for all contestants. I really look forward to running these events next year” says Fox.
